Very interesting hub. There is a lot to consider when moving to any other country but moving to paradise does sound attractive.

I would love to move to Barbados, since I like sun and beaches, but I also like getting away from cold rainy Scotland. Moving back though and having to reacclimatize to the cold is never fun though. So I think if moving to a nice hot country like Barbados, it's probably a good idea to make sure you won't be moving anywhere cold in the near future.

Great hub.. it's true Barbados is a great place to live.

You mention that there are lots of Catholic private schools - I'd just point out that while there are a few Catholic schools at primary level (under 11 yrs) at secondary level (over 11 yrs) there is just the Ursuline Convent.

I read a lot of good things about living in Barbados. But nothings on street security, violence and crime rates. There is no place without crime, but it is a matter to consider before moving.

I am concern about that fact and thanks for any actual, but non-approximative information.
